Top of the Mountain views in this spacious A-frame with wrap-around deck, and hot tub. This cabin has all the amenities of home, including internet. Great open floor plan with large windows giving you uninterrupted views with absolute privacy. Perfect for any occasion from a girl’s weekend getaway to a romantic honeymoon! The master offers a king bed and jetted tub, the loft has 2 queen beds and a comfortable desk allowing you to work from home while being surrounded by nature, and the large wrap around porch, hot tub and fire pit will make it hard to ever want to go inside. There is also easy access to hiking trails and a waterfall just down the driveway.
Closely located to downtown Bryson City (approximately 15 minutes), the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Nantahala and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. High Clearance vehicles only. You must cross through a small creek with your vehicle to get to the cabin. There is no bridge over the creek.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it! Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be used to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4 wheel, front wheel, or all wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. If you have any concerns about accessing your rental, please call prior to your arrival and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Mountain Roads:
Be prepared for steep, narrow, and curvy roads, both state-maintained and private.
Gravel roads are common.
These roads are part of the mountain charm but may require extra caution while driving.

Vehicle Requirements: front wheel drive vehicles only. High Clearance vehicles only. You must cross through a small creek with your vehicle to get to the cabin. There is no bridge over the creek.

Terrible!
Yellow Rose Realty, that manages this cabin will charge your credit card with bogus damages. I found out by looking at my credit card statement. They charged my account 500.00! When I called, they said the cover of the hot tub was ripped. My wife and myself told them it was already ripped upon our arrival. Since then, they refuse to answer my calls or return any messages left. Luckily I was able to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. DO NOT book with this cabin or Yellow Rose Realty! If you do, make sure to check your credit card. Also tub spa didn’t work. Gas fireplace didn’t work upon our arrival

Honeymoon
This cabin was perfect for our honeymoon we love the location and the amazing views that came with it! We were able to visit the places nearby and enjoy the views before and after in the hot tub! The only thing we can comment on that wasn’t great was the door looked like at one time it was kicked/pushed in and it made for trying to lock the door annoying at times because it wouldn’t always line up. Overall I have already told friends and family about the cabin and we have already talked about staying again in the future! Highly recommend having an AWD truck/suv to make it up to the cabin not sure we could make it if we were in a car.

This year we opted for a maintain vacation instead of a beach one and we are so thankful we did. We weathered the hurricane in this amazing cabin. The hot tub was a great addition to the wonderful experience!! The drive up to the mountain was incredible, thankful we had a 4x4 truck though. Views were spectacular!!

Mountain Time was a much needed tranquil get away. The cabin was very clean and accommodating. The view was awesome, and it was so quiet there. We enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub in the evenings, and listening to the owlsin the area. We would definitely look forward to a return visit, but maybe with a 4x4 next time as the driveway was a little rough but traveling it was not real hard.

A very enjoyable trip
We had a great time here. The cabin was great and the view from it was beautiful. It was the perfect place to get awake from the rest of the world and just relax. I would for sure stay at this place again for another vacation.

Amazing property
This was an amazing get away. It was a good friends birthday so we surprised her with a weekend get away. It was amazing. I live locally however it was a good way to meet a little closer to her and have an actual get away. Will most definitely not hesitate to book this location again if the need arises.

My only complaint is, even though the cabin was pet friendly, it had a rug in the middle of the floor that we had to roll up due to the urine smell. Other than that, this place was perfect for us. Very spacious. Also, do not bring a low profile vehicle to this cabin, you have to cross a creek that could possibly catch your vehicle. This place is honestly perfect

Perfect for us!
Such a beautiful location! Other reviews complained about windows not clean, floor needs done, pests, dirty furniture, needed new cooking ware, & needing an SUV to get to property. So, i was prepared. I brought blankets to put over furniture, ate out, saw no pests, ignored the dirty windows & floors, & focused on the beautiful landscape. I can say it was probably best that I had an SUV but we did get my Honda civic up & down once, & used my sons SUV to go out on adventures. I would recommend this place to others, for sure. I was not disappointed, especially with our view!

Girls trip
We absolutely loved this property. It was the perfect feeling of secluded while still being within 30 minutes of all our activities. I was definitely nervous about the drive way after reading the reviews but it was nothing to be nervous about. I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2WD and had no problems even though it rained the majority of the trip. Would not recommend a driving a car that is low to the ground but there wasn’t much to it, just one or two rocks after the light stream. We will definitely be coming back to this property.

Million Dollar View
What more could we have asked for...The views, the cabin, hot tube and fire place all met out expectations and then some. We came in for Polar Express in Bryson City. A short drive down the Mountain in to town. The drive up to the cabin was a challenge...we drove our Tahoe ...would not recommend drive a car to the cabin. You have to drive through a small creek on the way to the cabin. Over all...We LOVED it and will be back again soon!

It’s a beautiful view road going up is not good it needs some attention with rocks and some grading however once going up and down we got use to it beautiful location and view It’s a beautiful scenery no wild life however due to barking dogs all day and night so don’t expect to see any outside of that a beautiful property

Bryson City - Mountain Time cabin
The name of the cabin is Mountain Time and it's fitting. You are in the mountains, up a dirt road, across a running Brook, (no guard rails on the entire dirt road) through someone's farm and the last 8 yards of road to the driveway are steep and loose gravel. DO NOT ATTEMPT IN A CAR. You need an SUV with FWD at minimum. The views are ok, never really get to see the sunset, house faces southeast. All though the house is structurally sound it is filthy. Inside windows are full of spider webs in the loft. The loft bath has an electrical issue if the lower bath lights are on. The LR furniture is disgusting. We covered with blankets to sit. Found burnt dirty pots in the cupboard and greasy Tupperware under the sink. A bat lives under the outdoor eaves of the front porch so bat dung is always on the outside step of the French doors. Need to sweep everyday or it tracks inside on your shoes. The deck is covered in black mold and the outside windows are so dirty you can hardly see through them. The outdoor furniture is dirty, we covered those with towels. Could not open windows as between the window and screens they were full of spiders and dead bugs. Throw rugs are dirty as well. Needs a good cleaning inside and out and a paint job wouldn't hurt. Forget the fireplace, there no flue and the black smoke comes into the room. The hot tin is not on the house deck. It sits below the house on its own deck. We did not even try to use. For pit had huge trees in it so we didn't use that either. We lived the area, lots to see and do, but never returning to Mountain Time!

Beautiful view but moved to another cabin due to cleanliness.
Beautiful view and the property management team was great. However, there were fleas and mice in the cabin. The outdoor furniture was so worn down you couldn't sit in it and the couch was incredibly uncomfortable. We are easy going so this was pretty disappointing. It's a lovely location with great potential, hopefully the home owners can remedy. Thankful the property managers found something else pretty close by and we still had a great trip.
