It was so nice to get out of that hustle and bustle of traffic and people to this cozy, restful retreat. The details of this place are extraordinary, far beyond expectations. The owner made it so easy, and was responsive to all messages prior to our stay! The only regret is not knowing about this place until now!”

Street lights from the church across the street shined very brightly in the bedroom window so some room darkening curtains would be helpful. The only bathroom is in the bedroom so this was awkward with my friend staying with me. The host was quick to respond and helpful with questions.”

The bedrooms are very cramped with no place to put your luggage. “We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and spacious. We liked that it looked out on the woods, while being close to shopping. “It's a nice townhouse on the lake, can't really complain much about that. A few things to note. The downstairs bedroom is really cold (winter season of course) so you must be willing to keep a fire going if you want to stay down there. Also, the two queen beds felt more like full size beds to my wife and I. Smith Mountain Lake is a beautiful area, but be warned to get in out of of the area to other locations you will need to travel 15 minutes on very winding roads. And finally, there was a lack……
