“This is a well thought out cabin in the mountains. It was stocked with all the amenities a family could need... good heating, excellent kitchen, comfy couches and beds. Everything was clean and there was plenty of storage in the rooms. The coffee/tea bar was super nice in the mornings and evenings! “Place is beautiful, our host Ashley was great. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because the lack of curtains on three of the windows, and there was at least one(possibly more we couldn’t see) camera on the deck pointed inside the cabin that had view of the bathroom and kitchen area. If there were curtains on that window it would be a non-issue”

“Spent a few days at The Bear Lounge Cabin and it was a pleasure. Marina is a wonderful host and very responsive. The house feels very warm and cozy but spacious enough for 6 to 8 people. It is equipped with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We look forward to staying at the Bear Lounge again next season!”

“A wonderful, peaceful place to stay in the trees. The game room (e.g., pool table felt had a couple holes, dart board missing a number, no chalk for dart board scoreboard, etc) and other aspects could use some refreshing/updating, but the house overall worked out great for my family. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're going to be in the area.”
