“We had a lovely time. Everyone is so friendly in Twain Harte, but groceries are expensive. The cabin is a bit dated and run down in some areas but is all functional. Bring your own coffee. Wood was provided but more kindling would have been nice. The house is cozy. The beds are soft but we are spoiled so the queen size was small. The house and neighborhood are quiet and relaxing. Even with lights on I found the house rather dark, which I enjoyed, but I was glad flashlights were provided……

“We spent the last 5 days at this beautiful Foresta home with 2 bedrooms -- one with a queen full size futon, and one with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Everything was as advertised. We couldn't use the hot tub as it's closed Nov-May as to avoid frozen pipes, but we would love to return again, either in winter or summer! Being 20 minutes from the Yosemite valley floor (Bridevail, etc.) was truly wonderful. We woke up to deer in our backyard twice. :) ”

“This cabin felt about as close as you could stay in Yosemite Valley (unless you’re paying to stay in the lodges or camping). The proximity made it simpler to get to all of the nearby hikes and eateries in the valley. The cabin itself was perfect for our needs and we didn’t have any issues. It’s great for 1-2 adults! The manager, Annie, was amazing! She communicated with us every step of the way. Highly recommend! ”

“Listing is exactly as described. Perfect place to stay with kids and pets to get away from LA. Close to the highway, but not enough traffic for it to be an issue. About an hour's drive to Yosemite via El Portal. ”

“The property was clean, comfortable, well stocked and very close to Yosemite Valley. It's the next best thing to staying right in the valley.”

“The property was nice like the old cabin feel. Has all the amenities needed. Gas BBQ in back patio with other areas to hang out in. Close to town and in a nice neighbor. Only suggestions i would give is to have at least one patio covered and cover the BBQ. We had rain but didnt stop us.”

“Great location and house. Wish we would have stayed longer. ”

“This place is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the clean mountain air. We came in late April and it seemed like the lake closed early. Parking seemed a little expensive for a short stay but overall it was very enjoyable. I would stay here again. ”

“The house was perfect for our family. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Beautiful views from the window. Quiet neighborhood. My teens enjoyed the pool table and snowboarding close by. We definitely recommend. ”

“Wonderful property on the Merced River flowing by your own backyard patio. Cozy decor reflecting the mountain lifestyle. Jessie, our host, was quick to respond to our questions and requests. We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary and this cabin made our experience memorable in every way.”

“We had the best time staying here. We arrived at night and all the motion sensor lights up the stairs and on the front porch were so helpful and well thought out. Inside the cabin was so beautiful and cozy everything was comfortable, easy to use, labeled and well thought out for guest. We traveled to the near by snow park for inner tubing, while also visiting a few local restaurants and shops. Everybody we met along the way was so friendly, the drive and area was beautiful.
