“We rented both the Maine House and the Country House next door for our small wedding weekend! Our family and close friends all had space to stay. The rain held off for us to do our ceremony out on the lawn, and then we went inside for dinner and dancing in the big room. It was perfect. The house has its quirks and it’s definitely a big old summer camp that could use a little maintenance, but it turned out really cute and exactly what we needed. ”

“Lou-Anne & Rick are very kind, thoughtful and attentive hosts. Dexter’s pond and cabin is very clean, cozy and beautiful, being there gives you a deep sense of tranquility. My husband and I spent our 14 year wedding anniversary here and we just can’t say enough about it! It was a wonderful getaway we will not forget! We will definitely come back! ”

“Had a spectacular week on Long Lake! 8/16/25-8/23/25The house is huge and so comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The house fit us perfectly with 6 adults in the three master bedrooms and 4 kids in the basement cubby beds. Really amazing.The lake is crystal clear. Awesome to have the canoe, 3 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards. There is a sandy beach with a gradual slope. Dock was fun for fishing, relaxing in the sun, and star gazing at night. The water at the end of the dock is around……

“We absolutely loved our stay here! This cottage is a peaceful gem — pure bliss from start to finish. We enjoyed paddleboarding every day and the canoe was perfect for exploring the water. The cottage itself was cozy and charming, with unique touches that made the space extra special. We especially appreciated the privacy, it felt like our own little retreat.The only thing to note is that the bees and mosquitoes can be a bit active, so just come prepared for that.Overall, it was an amazing stay……

“The house was absolutely lovely. The location was convenient from a major road but tucked away and quiet. We enjoyed visiting the nearby rock and gem museum, hiking and visiting the restaurants in Bridgton.The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in, there was ample living space for our entire group to spread out, and the lawn was fantastic for games and activities.My favorite part was the pond which was fabulous for swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing and fishing.
