“Perfect short getaway! Although we only stayed two nights. It was the perfect time to snap us out of the boring winter blues. We had a blast and it was very relaxing. ”

“We had a wonderful time! Janna’s house was perfect for our big family. Lots of room to spread out, activities to do and being close to the lake was perfect. The kids got to ice fish, build snow huts and ski at the local mountains. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need and there were plenty of blankets.Janna was great to work with. Easy to connect with, answered all our questions and was very helpful. We highly recommend staying here!”

“The renter is not worth coming about the fact that her home is on a very steep hill. I told her I was a senior and had foot and ankle and knee surgeries and had a hard time walking. I saved up to rent a place all year. When I got there I had to call her to find out how to get to the lake. It is so steep I couldn't find an entrance to the lake, I finally found a foot wide muddy, slippery path which was 90 degrees straight up and down. I only took a few steps and realized I would break my neck if……

“Went up in a groups of 4. Everyone had a bed to sleep on, stocked with plenty of necessities, and was the perfect location for our ice fishing trip. Plenty of ice on the lake and we got into a couple of lake trout. Great place to stay.”

“We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for the family and amazing views. A 5 min drive to Mt. Abram and a 10 min drive to Bethel/Sunday River, the house is conveniently located. My only suggestion would be to bring awd vehicles if going in the winter as the road and the driveway are tough in the snow without awd. Other than that our trip was perfect and the communication from the owners superb. We would definitely rent here again! W”

“Wonderful hosts, they thought of everything we might need including many nice extra touches! Beautiful quiet spot with the opportunity to paddle boat, kayak, canoe, swim, fish, enjoy campfires, outdoor grilling, observe wildlife (Osprey, Bald Eagle, Deer)”

“This cabin has a nice open layout, great for hanging out, nice amenities including a well-stocked pantry. Pretty walk down to the lake, nice neighborhood in both directions. We had a great time. Only issue was that I suffer from COPD and mildew in a bedroom closet affected my breathing, please just be aware.”

“We had two adults, two teens and one very active dog. Guess who was NOT thrilled with the no-plumbing no-electricity situation?!? But that’s the point- reconnect with nature and slow down. We even got them off their phones for a while. (Although internet is strong! Totally remote workable) The island is beautiful and serene and clean. “My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property on Parker Pond from Aug.19-27th. The 4 of us (kids ages 6 and 11) as well as our 2 pups really loved this cozy cabin. The beautiful views from the porch, the great dock to sit and sip coffee and the availability of SUP boards and kayaks were all highlights.
