“The cabin seemed brand new and was fantastic. The property owners were helpful and friendly. The kids had such a great time as did the adults. Walmart was nearby for anything you'd need.”

“We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the gas fireplace was cozy. Dock was a gorgeous spot for a late affernoon drink! Only consideration is bedrooms are tight and wouldn’t be good for those with mobility issues. Only suggestion to the hosts would be extra hand/dish soap (we used both sparingly since they weee nearly out and didn’t find others in the cupboards). Otherwise appreciated the hosts responsiveness. Recommend!”

“Check-in, check-out, all communication with the owner was A. Great place for some quiet peaceful camping/glamping. Plenty to do, swim, kayak, fish, hike around the island, or just relax…it’s very peaceful and quiet. Kitchen facilities are great. Mind you its a camping kitchen, but grill, propane, utensils, plates, pots pans, everything you would need is provided…except for the food. Cabin was comfortable and clean, plenty of room. Overall I’d say the place is A”

“We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for the family and amazing views. A 5 min drive to Mt. Abram and a 10 min drive to Bethel/Sunday River, the house is conveniently located. My only suggestion would be to bring awd vehicles if going in the winter as the road and the driveway are tough in the snow without awd. Other than that our trip was perfect and the communication from the owners superb. We would definitely rent here again! W”

“We came to visit my daughter who lives near by and couldn’t have picked a better place ! The cottage is immaculate everything you could need! The view is amazing on the water . The only negative thing I would say is the no internet access only for the reason we got locked out when we 1rst arrived and we were able to find a spot outside to texted the owner a message and he was there very quickly. Overall we had the best time and would highly recommend this place !!”

“This is an exceptional place to spend a couple days. The amenities are perfect and the setting is just simply magical. The simplicity of the area makes you feel like you’re camping but with almost all the things you need to feel luxurious. Check in was super simple and the owners were always accommodating and quick to respond. Little details were not missed. The cabin was super clean, well maintained, the shower was fantastic and the bed was really comfortable. Simply a perfect retreat……

“Had an overall wonderful 3 night stay! The cabin is super cute and cozy with everything you’d want for a weekend away. Everything was very clean, well kept, and stocked with necessities. It is off-grid so expect to put some work in to be comfortable (but that’s kind of the point haha). The fire was awesome and kept us very warm the whole time despite it being mid January. The host was very welcoming and friendly, she left lots of helpful instructions - great communication! Hopefully we’ll be……
