“This cabin is exactly what we need for a quick getaway. It is easy to find, with a spacious yet cozy layout. The white pine interior, high ceilings, and natural light encourage relaxation while the fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare a quick meal. “Upon opening the door, we were greeted by a warm, sunny living room with breath taking views of the mountains. The recliners and the propane fireplace offered a cozy space to read, visit, or just enjoy the view. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of fluffy white towels. The kitchen was well appointed right down to the martini shaker. The attention to every detail was so appreciated and made for a memorable stay. Thank you for sharing your special place.”

“Perfect short getaway! Although we only stayed two nights. It was the perfect time to snap us out of the boring winter blues. We had a blast and it was very relaxing. ”

“The renter is not worth coming about the fact that her home is on a very steep hill. I told her I was a senior and had foot and ankle and knee surgeries and had a hard time walking. I saved up to rent a place all year. When I got there I had to call her to find out how to get to the lake. It is so steep I couldn't find an entrance to the lake, I finally found a foot wide muddy, slippery path which was 90 degrees straight up and down. I only took a few steps and realized I would break my neck if……

“We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for the family and amazing views. A 5 min drive to Mt. Abram and a 10 min drive to Bethel/Sunday River, the house is conveniently located. My only suggestion would be to bring awd vehicles if going in the winter as the road and the driveway are tough in the snow without awd. Other than that our trip was perfect and the communication from the owners superb. We would definitely rent here again! W”

“This cabin has a nice open layout, great for hanging out, nice amenities including a well-stocked pantry. Pretty walk down to the lake, nice neighborhood in both directions. We had a great time. Only issue was that I suffer from COPD and mildew in a bedroom closet affected my breathing, please just be aware.”

“We had two adults, two teens and one very active dog. Guess who was NOT thrilled with the no-plumbing no-electricity situation?!? But that’s the point- reconnect with nature and slow down.
