“My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property on Parker Pond from Aug.19-27th. The 4 of us (kids ages 6 and 11) as well as our 2 pups really loved this cozy cabin. The beautiful views from the porch, the great dock to sit and sip coffee and the availability of SUP boards and kayaks were all highlights. “The renter is not worth coming about the fact that her home is on a very steep hill. I told her I was a senior and had foot and ankle and knee surgeries and had a hard time walking. I saved up to rent a place all year. When I got there I had to call her to find out how to get to the lake. It is so steep I couldn't find an entrance to the lake, I finally found a foot wide muddy, slippery path which was 90 degrees straight up and down. I only took a few steps and realized I would break my neck if……

“I can’t explain how great this place was. From outside to inside. The cabin was the cutest thing I have ever seen. The touches Melissa had put into the inside was by far the best. The recommendations for places to eat and do. To leaving water bottles in the fridge to leaving alittle dish of candy was the sweetest thing. The book on the coffee table so guest could sign was amazing. I can’t wait to come back. ”

“We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily love and this cabin was the perfect getaway. Secluded and great way to disconnect from the electronics. The cabin had a homey feel and the view of the pond was spectacular. At night my wife and I say back on the dock and did some start gazing which was wonderful!”

“We had two adults, two teens and one very active dog. Guess who was NOT thrilled with the no-plumbing no-electricity situation?!? But that’s the point- reconnect with nature and slow down. We even got them off their phones for a while. (Although internet is strong! Totally remote workable) The island is beautiful and serene and clean. “This cabin has a nice open layout, great for hanging out, nice amenities including a well-stocked pantry. Pretty walk down to the lake, nice neighborhood in both directions. We had a great time. Only issue was that I suffer from COPD and mildew in a bedroom closet affected my breathing, please just be aware.”

“We really loved our stay at this woodsy Maine cabin in Chesterville. It had such a warm & cozy feel, even though it has such high ceilings. It's also in view of the small lake, with a huge wrap around porch & plenty of places to sit & look out. The indoor fire place/wood stove was wonderful & we used it daily. Wood was stocked. Lots of little touches were so fun, like the s'mores supplies & games, puzzles, binoculars, books, lil nooks to relax, etc. We would definitely return!! Just be careful……

“Great size, very clean. The posted pictures do not do this camp justice! Lots of upgrades and Beth is very responsive. Beautiful cove with little traffic. Sounds of loons day and night. Great bass fishing too! There is a wonderful dock but be sure to bring your own water toys. Great place for children with neighbors that encourage lots of kid play, exploring/adventuring, and boisterous fun.”
