“The renter is not worth coming about the fact that her home is on a very steep hill. I told her I was a senior and had foot and ankle and knee surgeries and had a hard time walking. I saved up to rent a place all year. When I got there I had to call her to find out how to get to the lake. It is so steep I couldn't find an entrance to the lake, I finally found a foot wide muddy, slippery path which was 90 degrees straight up and down. I only took a few steps and realized I would break my neck if……

“Went up in a groups of 4. Everyone had a bed to sleep on, stocked with plenty of necessities, and was the perfect location for our ice fishing trip. Plenty of ice on the lake and we got into a couple of lake trout. Great place to stay.”

“Cute cabin, Not maintained. We arrived late evening to the cabin with all sheets / towels all dirty on the floor. After multiple calls, property manager texted that the cleaner did not show. A new cleaner would come the next day but there are clean sheets in the garage. The tables were sticky, the carpet dusty as if it has never been vacuumed. The lovely cleaning person arrived after lunch and took the dirty pile of sheets and made our beds, which was nice of her. After a day of swimming the……

“We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for the family and amazing views. A 5 min drive to Mt. Abram and a 10 min drive to Bethel/Sunday River, the house is conveniently located. My only suggestion would be to bring awd vehicles if going in the winter as the road and the driveway are tough in the snow without awd. Other than that our trip was perfect and the communication from the owners superb. We would definitely rent here again! W”

“My partner and I had a great week at this lovely camp. It was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable, as is the livingroom furniture, nice shower, huge kitchen sink, and we used the screen porch a LOT. It is very close to the water, which is hard to find. The cottages are family owned and we couldn't have felt more welcome. The shared beach area was perfect for launching the kayaks they provided to explore this very peaceful pond. “We had two adults, two teens and one very active dog. Guess who was NOT thrilled with the no-plumbing no-electricity situation?!? But that’s the point- reconnect with nature and slow down. We even got them off their phones for a while. (Although internet is strong! Totally remote workable) The island is beautiful and serene and clean. “My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property on Parker Pond from Aug.19-27th. The 4 of us (kids ages 6 and 11) as well as our 2 pups really loved this cozy cabin. The beautiful views from the porch, the great dock to sit and sip coffee and the availability of SUP boards and kayaks were all highlights. “Great escape from the typical tourist areas. Very zen. Close by the lake with a pier, canoes and kayaks for use if you wish. Sit in the adarondak chairs at sunset and listen to the loons calling. Then go back and enjoy the screened porch and the peace. Drive to Portland, Freeport, or Kennebunkport, then back to relaxing evenings!”
