“Excellent Place! Perfect Location ”

“This was one of the best stays we’ve had in years. Immediately after checking in for our one night stay we looked around and requested a second night and the process was seamless. Wendy greeted me in the office and made check-in and the adjustment so simple. We met Vinny (the maintenance/cleaner) and he was the most polite, helpful and attentive hotel worker we have ever had the pleasure of meeting on a trip. The rooms were cozy, super clean, and the access to the river was an added bonus.……

“Everything was lovely. The farmhouse was clean, cutely decorated, and well stocked. It was so fun to look out the window and see alpacas. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the peace of the hill country. Really enjoyed our visit. ”

“We had a great stay at the River Lodge! We really enjoyed the shared space upstairs with the shuffle board, pool table and air hockey. The rooms were very comfortable and cold. Restaurants and shops are a short drive away. The property is on the river. It’s very scenic. We saw deer and lots of birds. If the owner could add more kitchen items such as a toaster/ toaster oven, it would be perfect. There is an induction hot plate so we were able to make breakfast everyday. The outdoor propane……

“Property was very nice, had our own private outdoor patio with a great fan, river was crystal clear ranging from 2-6’. Was a bit tricky getting into the river by the old dam but once in, it was perfect. ”

“This is a lovely place to get away with your family and loved ones. It has a panoramic view of the countryside with amazing sunsets and sun rises.”
