“We stayed at the Bird House for my daughter graduation weekend from Texas State University. Great location - peaceful vibe in the pecan trees, yet just 12 minutes from TXST campus. House is cute and has everything we needed (except dishwasher!!). We enjoyed swinging in the porch hammocks, walking the property, and lounging indoors. Definitely a great getaway! ”

“Magnificent almost describes this place. Inside is breathrakingly and brilliantly furnished with beautiful antique and modern furniture and decor and with all the comforts of home. Brief distance from shopping & dining conveniences, far enough away to have the serenity of the country feel with cattle across the road & the occasional train whistle. Outside a garden of foliage and flowers & more decor as well as a gazebo. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck watching Martins tend to their nest.……

“My son’s wedding was at Stonehouse Villa in Driftwood, just 10 minutes from the house. This house was immaculate. It was perfect because we were so close to the venue. Lisa was fabulous. If I needed anything she gave me her number so I could contact her directly. I would definitely stay here again. Maybe even for a girls night and check out all the wineries and breweries near by. The prices was very reasonable as well. Thanks again Lisa for allowing us to stay in this cozy Vrbo.”

“The house was exactly as pictured and excellent for the stay. The outdoor space was lovely for our wedding and everyone thought it was a great location/venue. Prior to the weekend communication was excellent but when it came time to actually being there, communication went downhill. A wedding can be high stress so having that happen was frustrating; however, the owner did get someone to come mow the outdoor event space on the day of the event and it gave us just enough time to finish decorating.……

“We arrived at the place to find that the owner was there and that as she had canceled when I did not have any notification, Vrbo assured that I actually had my reservation and everything in order but this woman decided to cancel at the last minute. So very bad experience.”

“We had a great stay at this property. The house was very spacious and we easily slept 14 people. Amenities at the house were great for a weekend get away. We had everything we needed to cook meals at the house instead of venturing out. The property manager was fantastic to work with and gracious with us for a minor request on checkout day. We highly recommend the property!”
