“We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The property was beautiful and the house was very comfortable and clean. My granddaughters loved the little lizards and the rabbits that were all around. This property was nice and secluded and very quiet, but still close to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely like to come back. ”

“We stayed at the Bird House for my daughter graduation weekend from Texas State University. Great location - peaceful vibe in the pecan trees, yet just 12 minutes from TXST campus. House is cute and has everything we needed (except dishwasher!!). We enjoyed swinging in the porch hammocks, walking the property, and lounging indoors. Definitely a great getaway! ”

“My husband and I took 10 high school grads on a retreat /senior trip for Younglife to this property. It was fantastic. The grounds were perfect for games. We had a pickleball tournament in the driveway. The pool, river front and basketball quart were great. The house was beautiful, kitchen was spacious and the living room sectional was great for when we all gathered together. Everyone said that the beds were really comfortable. We had a great time and will look to book here again. ”

“Outstanding! Peaceful! Convenient to everywhere our group needed to be. Onion Creek CC, my son’s home and quick drive to heart of Austin as long as you avoid rush hour. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Hosts/friendly and welcoming. Excellent!Will stay here again and again when in Austin!!!”

“Magnificent almost describes this place. Inside is breathrakingly and brilliantly furnished with beautiful antique and modern furniture and decor and with all the comforts of home. Brief distance from shopping & dining conveniences, far enough away to have the serenity of the country feel with cattle across the road & the occasional train whistle. Outside a garden of foliage and flowers & more decor as well as a gazebo. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck watching Martins tend to their nest.……

“The house was exactly as pictured and excellent for the stay. The outdoor space was lovely for our wedding and everyone thought it was a great location/venue. Prior to the weekend communication was excellent but when it came time to actually being there, communication went downhill. A wedding can be high stress so having that happen was frustrating; however, the owner did get someone to come mow the outdoor event space on the day of the event and it gave us just enough time to finish decorating.……

“We had a great stay at this property. The house was very spacious and we easily slept 14 people. Amenities at the house were great for a weekend get away. We had everything we needed to cook meals at the house instead of venturing out. The property manager was fantastic to work with and gracious with us for a minor request on checkout day. We highly recommend the property!”
