“Very relaxing and a great place to stay”

“Space felt clean, and there were no bad odors or smells. Small things around the place - missing toilet paper holder, no overhead light in bedroom, lack of dishes for use. Overall though, a great spot! If most people are going out each day or night, and Iy want to use the gym or pool occasionally, this was a great place!”

“This place was Great. It was very clean and had all we needed to feel at home. The walk to the river was beautiful, I wish it was summer but nevertheless it was so very nice. Restaurants and downtown shopping are a rock throw away and a must to visit Gruene Historical District. We had a fabulous time, thank you Romantic Casita for hosting us. “The property was clean, neat and very nicely decorated. It was easily accessible yet provided a great deal of privacy. Given the opportunity we will stay there again. ”

“Was in town for a show at Gruene hall so wanted something walking distance from the venue. Easy 5 minute walk. There was a good little bar across the street we enjoyed as well. Couldn’t find the light for the shower or it was burned out but other than that the casita was great!Did not get my check in email but a quick call to the owner solved that issue. Responsive and quick. ”

“The Palmer’s guest house was perfect for our anniversary celebration. We ate at Palmer’s restaurant, excelllent food and drinks. I am picky and give the restaurant A plus! They were so kind to us and acknowledge our anniversary. We were walking distance from the square so didn’t have to uber which was perfect. The guest house was cozy and perfect size for a couple. Communication was best I have ever had. The bathroom is small maybe in need of few shelves for belongings but that is all. ……

“Warm and welcoming home. Li”

“It’s was nice area and clean house. Was so cold. We used heater but all house smell gas’s and front off house no light to be on and was so dark. Couldn’t enjoy out and had use flash light. I offer for this nice house is better use lights and can’t see everything far to be enjoy until midnight. Otherwise was very nice place”

“A Very relaxing and quiet spot to get away from it all and see the stars. Well thought out with all the amenities needed for such a small space. The perfect place for couples to Enjoy!”

“Was very clean and felt like we had our own little cottage away from the noise and people, but yet very close to downtown Gruene. I gotta admit taking a shower there was awesome it has the softest water. This was our second stay and will definitely book there again soon.”

“Property was perfect. Hot tub /entertainment room was perfect. We didn’t bring kids but definitely big enough for kids or a larger adult gathering. 15-20 minute Uber to old town Elgin. Would definitely stay again. ”

“We had the best time at the Fun Casita in Gruene! The property was beautiful and well furnished, but it didn’t compare to the river access and water amenities. We spent much of our trip sitting on chairs in the water watching the tubers and the wildlife. The bonus was the location which allowed us to walk to all of the restaurants, shopping, and entertainment areas. I highly recommend this casita! ”
