“We loved staying in this farmhouse for a relaxing getaway. It is so peaceful and you feel immersed in the country but are only minutes from town. We spent a whole day in McKinney downtown and could have enjoyed it much longer. The next day we went to the new World Springs spa in The Colony - about 25 mins away. It made for a fabulous restful weekend. The house is comfortable but with rustic decor. There are not recliners or plush sofas, but comfortable old fashioned rocking chairs and a nice……

“It was a beautiful place!Overall, it was great, but we did have a few minor issues such as a hideaway bed being broken, an air mattress having a hole in it, etc.For the life of me, I could not find the light switch to turn off the lights in the kitchen lol!Knowing ahead of time that it is a working ranch would have been nice, but it wasn’t a problem. The property gate doesn’t work, so you have to get out and open/close it manually.It has a beautiful pond, high ceilings on the first and second……
