“We absolutely loved how close it was, yet away from everything at the same time. We had 3 family stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. I really enjoy the new arrangement of furniture compared to the photos.”

“Family members stayed here for a wedding weekend celebration. There is a spiral staircase to get to the two bedrooms in the loft area. The “younger” members of our group were given that area to enjoy and to maneuver their suitcases up. Overall a lovely property and enjoyed the stay ”

“We all had a great time ; especially our granddaughters. James and Marty are excellent hosts. They took the time introduce all the animals to our granddaughters including the goats, chickens, turkey, rabbits and peacocks. The girls got to hold and feed a baby peacock. The accommodations were perfect for us. Thanks for the goat milk for Susan’s coffee. We highly recommend staying at the Byrd’s Nest.”

“The house was exactly as pictured and excellent for the stay. The outdoor space was lovely for our wedding and everyone thought it was a great location/venue. Prior to the weekend communication was excellent but when it came time to actually being there, communication went downhill. A wedding can be high stress so having that happen was frustrating; however, the owner did get someone to come mow the outdoor event space on the day of the event and it gave us just enough time to finish decorating.……
