“The Gull Cottage where we stayed was absolutely excellent! Ruth who owns and runs the cottage was super, welcoming us to the cottage and explaining the facilities. “The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps. ”

“Very friendly owners who gave me some ideas on what to see and where to go, very helpful. Nice room, clean and has all you need for an overnight stay. I stayed up stairs with a view of the water. Property just out of town so you would need transport or Uber if you wanted to eat and drink in town. Would stay again, if I was coming back to South Africa.”

“Booked to stay here for 2 nights after reading the reviews and we are so glad we did. From the moment we checked in and being greeted in the lounge with a drink and then being escorted to our room was such a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and we wished we could have just stayed here for the 2 days and relaxed but we had plans in Knysna and Plettenberg.
