“This is an absolutely perfect place for a family stay. It sits on a quiet cove just off of the main body of the lake in the Old Kinderhook resort. Our kids had the best time fishing, swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding in the cove. We rented a boat for a few days and had a wonderful time tubing, exploring the lake, and boating to restaurants for lunches and dinners. There are also a couple of resort pools that are accessible, as well as a really nice golf course, basketball and pickleball……

“This was our third trip to this very inviting cabin in the woods. The cabin itself is clean and fully stocked with your basic necessities. The hike down and up from the river isn’t for the faint of heart but so worth it. The river is peaceful and in the three years we’ve been coming we’ve seen two people kayaking down the river. Our teenage kids spend hours catching crawdads and building minnow forts in the rocks. We come back every year because it’s remote, very little wifi and where we can……
