“I stayed at The Standard with my son who is 10. Very cozy and fashionable hotel with lovely staff who are very welcoming and nice. Their hospitality was great. They held onto our luggage after we checked out (the flight was at 11pm) so we could explore the city and go shopping during the day. They also let us stay at the lounge for a couple of hours before heading to the airport. It’s a bit of a walk from Orchard Road (about 10 mins.) to the hotel, but because it’s away from the busy street,……

“The main problem for this stay is renovation from nearby hotel rooms start as early as 9am in the morning, with hammering and drilling which is unacceptable to my standard It is really annoying and we dun expect early works in a hotel which is supposed to be quiet and comfy ”
