“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”

“What an incredible experience! From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were greeting with overwhelming hospitality - it felt like we were pulling up to a loving family members house - that’s how welcome we felt! Our room was so lovely, and the food and wine at the resort was outstanding. My husband and I enjoy sleeping in a bit on vacation and the restaurant called us every morning to ask us if we wanted breakfast delivered to our room as they realized we hadn’t come down. “Es muy linda, es atendida por la familia propietaria que incluso te atienden y platican. Recomiendo ampliamente en caso de que quieran hospedarse en un lugar campirano. La atención es excelente y la cata de vinos fue de otro nivel, fue maravillosa! Mi única observación es que quizá el desayuno podría ser más variado, pues nos pareció sencillo para el tipo de propiedad y que al parecer el toallero eléctrico tampoco funcionaba. Nos quedamos en la habitación Ipocrate”

“Very special hotel with nice hot spring pools, sauna, etc. The staff is super helpful and the installations nicer than the pictures. Their breakfast (which was included) and food is delicious! Nice place to visit Pienza and Montepulciano. In general we had a very relaxing experience it this hotel and would definitively would like to go back one day. ”

“Good hotel. If you drive to there based on Google Map, you better follow the main road instead of a muddy road recommend by Google. The hotel is near the old town (so as ZTL!) and just a 5 minutes walk. Montalcino old town get a lot of places to taste wine. Don't miss it!”
