“This was a beautiful bungalow That had everything I needed And was also dog friendly. The location was on a busy street but it wasn't Off putting. It was a short drive to the state park and an easy walk into downtown for restaurants It was nice to have a garage to park in and there was a back deck to hang out on. The beds were comfortable And I appreciated The welcome note And the treats and supplies for my dog.”

“We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house was clean and well stocked, there were even amenities for our pups like bowls, pick up bags, treats and toys! It's so hard to find a property that takes larger dogs, but this was not a problem here. The fenced yard was perfect for late night let outs and running around. The location is perfect for accessing Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks with a very useful write up of different hikes at Starved Rock provided in our welcome materials.……

We loved seeing and reading the articles about the house, which gave us a glimpse into its history while incorporating modern necessities that most families desire. Tyler was quick to respond with any questions I had and stayed in touch with any updates. My children are already asking if we can come back next year!”

“before arriving contacted property manager, asked about kitchen, was told i would have everything i would need to prepare a meal. Found no bakeware, or microwave ware, no measuring cups or spoons, only 4 forks and knives, 4 bowls, no strainer, no hand soap, garbage bags. Pots and pans that were there were dirty, all needed to be cleaned. The entire place was dirty, needs a deep cleaning. Sheets and comforters looked dirty, stained required washing. pillows flat and stained, no top sheets on the……

The house felt very home-y and the kids loved all the books, toys, and the rock painting. The neighborhood was quiet, and everything was just a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again.”
