“I booked this property for my Tanzanian business partner and his wife who were visiting the US for the first time. I wanted to provide them a small town/city feel with all the comforts of the season and access to all things downtown Frederick. The place was perfect. The location was exactly what we needed because they wanted to be able to venture into Frederick’s downtown area without a car. It was exactly what we were looking for.They said over and over, “I can’t believe how peaceful it is……

“We enjoyed our stay in this unique first floor unit. Kim and company were fine and friendly hosts. The unit was well stocked with nice supplies, and we could tell that thought was put into the furnishing and renovations. There was also an interesting collection of solid old furniture that added to the character of the place. I don't know what sort of sheets they put on the bed, but they were *so* comfortable! One downside was the lack of sound-proofing. Noise definitely carried from people……

“My boyfriend and I stayed at this beautiful cabin for a weekend. We had a great time getting out of the city and into the wilderness. We read the previous reviews so we had an idea of what we were getting into with regards to noise. And boy was that ever accurate. Loud music and drinking games from kids who most likely weren’t 21 yet. We will always remember the “CHUG, CHUG, CHUG” chanting reverberating throughout the cabin. “This adorable unit right on the Monocacy River was just what my heart and soul needed!! The host Joe was absolutely the best and made sure I even had a place when I needed to stay longer since this cutie was already rented! You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a secluded place but also a minutes drive to dining and shopping! Downtown is super close without the hustle of city living. Oh and check out his other places available close by! They are amazing as well! Thanks Joe……
