“Stayed here as a family of 5 to go skiing nearby. Place is cute and our kids liked the bunk bed room.In winter, the house was really cold and drafty though (standing at kitchen sink, air blows cold onto one’s feet despite having heat on in the house). During our stay, the pipes froze so we didn’t have water for a period of time. The host was responsive and did send a plumber - however he ended up leaving the front door open when he left.. So when we came back to the house after a day out skiing,……

“We had a great time. The tent and toilet were clean. We appreciated the water provided and the cookware. The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. ”

“Nothing negative to say really. Booked this house for 20 guests and it fit us all comfortably. Everything was clean and loved the way this house was layed out. Lots of room and many things to do even inside the house. Huge backyard. Host was very kind. Not many things like paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags for 4 days with 20 guests as well as no washer and dryer as it’s listed.”

“The property is close to Minawaska State Park where we went hiking. We enjoyed the hot tub and had a nice stay. There are a number of nice restaurants nearby too.”

“This house was exactly what we needed for a fun friends event. We planned on cooking and found enough equipment for the job. The beds were comfortable. The living room and kitchen were enormous, plenty of room for our decorations and activities. We were 15-20 mins from all of our outings including hikes, Robibero vineyard, 2 cider houses, and downtown New Paltz.”

“We did not end up staying at this property because the host cancelled on us the day before. He reached out 2 months prior to tell us his pool would not be available and offered us a 20% refund. But he never provided it and did not communicate about this again. When we followed up about it, he cancelled the whole stay and tried to get us to change properties last minute. This seemed very strange so we didn’t agree. We did eventually get a full refund after a LOT of back and forth but lost over……

“My girlfriend and I spent a weekend here for Valentine's Day, and it was perfect for our needs. It's very easily accessible and easy to get to from downtown Newburgh/Beacon. Phyllis was very communicative throughout our stay and super understanding of the winter weather coming in the morning we left. Everything is as listed and we really enjoyed ourselves here for a winter retreat!”
