“Seems like everything is no more than 25 minutes away - wonderful hosts that had everything set up as advertised, friendly but not obtrusive….the Portland weather kept us from enjoying the hot tub and fire pit during our extended weekend stay , but the yard is a magnificent oasis of flowers, fresh herbs and a. Fig tree and lots of singing birds in the morning to enjoy with your coffee on the deck …as a veteran of the great folk scare of the 1960’s the vinyl collection is outstanding. ”

Had an opportunity to chat with Vicky; such a welcoming host. What sets this place apart is the view from the deck upstairs! Wow! On a clear day you get a perfect view of Mt Hood! At night, it’s mesmerizing. For the price … spectacular!!!”

“Just what we wanted: a spacious amount of room for 4 people, an unusual location while still convenient to Portland, and a responsive host. It's more "house" than "boat," but it's located on a pretty little stretch of water with a small current. We loved watching the geese family, heron and beaver across the way. We weren't expecting train tracks to be so close, or the trains so plentiful, but it soon added to the charm of the place. Access is easy, with one reserved parking spot. Others living……

“I stayed at Sheena’s place for about 3 months while completing an internship for school. They stay was great! It was exactly as described and had everything that I needed for my time there. Since it is farther outside of town, the internet and service can be a bit tricky, but nothing that couldn’t be handled. She communicated very effectively and helped me with anything that I needed during my stay. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for long or short term stay in St. Helen’s. ”

The unit we stayed in was very clean, and a cool little outdoor sitting area. The backyard is a very cool tranquil area to sit and relax while feeling secluded! I highly recommend staying here! The hosts were equally as amazing and helpful with information. We will for sure stay there again.”
