“Once again the Comfy Lake Vermilion cabin fullfilled our needs on a September fishing trip. The cabin was clean upon arrival and was the perfect accomdation for our group of 4. Ideally the boat lift will be in better working order for our return in 2025. Vermilion is one of the best fishing lakes in MN and the need for a fully functioning boat lift or protected docking space is a necessity.”

“It was just as advertised, and better than expected. Host Jay was great, and the amenities like canoes, kayaks, and fishing gear (including the bait), free to use is terrific. ”

“Wanted to be closer to the lake. Cabin was okay. Double bed needs a new mattress and lights for reading in bed. with few outlets, we appreciated finding an extention cord. We moved the bed so we could get out of either side. Hope that's okay. Please read all this as constructive, not complaint. We will recommend your place.”

“What a lovely place for a family getaway! Located near the beautiful area surrounding lake vermilion. this lakeside cabin was the ideal spot for us to spend a long weekend with our two girls. We spent 3 days of hiking, visiting the international Wolf center, and just enjoying the small towns in the area. We had s'mores by the fire pit and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the deck of this lovely cabin. Our host responded immediately to any questions we had, and gave us tips on the area. I……

We could have stayed in town but the true experience of Ely was here. The sunrise and sunset out our window was magnificent! Living of the needs in life made it that more memorable.
