“A Taste of Ely was a great choice for our weekend with four couples.Very roomy, comfortable furniture, lots of interesting spaces to be together and also get off by yourself. We enjoyed the interesting historical aspect of the property and appreciated the thorough renovation they've done; the bathrooms and kitchen were all fresh and new. The sauna was wonderful and worked great!! So much in Ely was within easy walking distance; we only regret that we never had time to stop into our favorite spot……

“Our stay was wonderful! The property was great, clean, easy to get to and loved where it was located on the lake. We had a large eagle visit us every day and a deer, two turtles sunning themselves on a rock in the lake.The house accommodated 11 of us very well. Our one suggestion would be that there more chairs in the porch and out side. While the adirondack chairs in the porch are nice they are too big for that room and really not that comfortable and would be better outside. The kitchen……

“We had 8 adult family members stay for a week so used both the main cabin and the smaller cabin. Lots of great fishing - hired a guide for one day early in our trip so knew where to go, which was very helpful. Both cabins are cozy, comfortable, and decorated great. Floors in the small cabin were quite slanted and a bit tricky for our older relative. Deck could use a bit of work and basement bedroom was a bit cold and musty so no one wanted to sleep there. “This is a very nice home and very well maintained. It is very comfortable with a great view of the lake. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, utensils and having a dishwasher is a plus. The rules are posted on the refrigerator and easy to follow. The neighbor's dog, Rooster, came by to check on us each day and was a joy. We would definitely recommend this place. Thank you!”

“This was our 4th stay. Beautiful updates in the kitchen and front deck…love having a dishwasher! Great walleye fishing all week. We’re always very comfortable here, and the host is super responsive. We’ve never had an issue with the cabin or dock. Plenty of options for sleeping & relaxation. The west view on the back deck is superb. Enjoyed a visit to the International Wolf Center in Ely. It’s super convenient to the grocery store & restaurants in Tower, as well as bait We’ll definitely……

“We enjoyed our time in this large, beautiful home (and bonus cabin!) overlooking peaceful Burntside lake. The home was very comfortable with a nice, well-equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook meals together and enjoy them on the deck overlooking the water. Everyone remarked that the beds were comfy. The home was super convenient to Ely for grocery runs. We were all sad to leave! ”
