“I echo all the 10/10 reviews. We too brought our e-bikes and took several wonderful rides around old Mandeville. The bike trails are the best I’ve ridden. Lake Pontchartrain shoreline is a short stroll away, and there are many nearby eateries and watering holes to experience. The cottage is awesome. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice. It was perfect for our stay.”

“Property was very clean and comfortable. Loved the location. Walkable to restaurants, shops and grocery. Host responded quickly when we discovered there was no toaster and dropped one off right away. We would stay here again next time we're in Covington. ”

“The house was nice, good location, easy check in/out. My only complaint is that the water from the pipes had a bit of a smell to it (the faucets and the shower). Other than that everything was as advertised. Great for our Mardi Gras trip. ”

“Creek is moving water so hardley any mosquito. Coldest creek in LA perfect for toddlers to play in the shallow water. Lots of small fish for kids to catch. The house has the essential for cooking pots pans etc. Because your 20mins from a McDonalds dont believe google when it says 10 mile. We came to LA to see family in the area. Would come back to this place when we come back to LA. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage near Lake Pontchartrain, LA! The home was perfect for visiting family—cozy, well laid out, and incredibly charming. “I was in town visiting family and needed a comfortable place to stay—and this sweet cottage on the horse farm was absolutely perfect. It was just a 20-minute drive to Covington, making it super convenient, yet peaceful and private. The cottage was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and felt incredibly safe and welcoming.
