“This is my first time visiting the budget inn, and it was a better experience than the last two motels I stayed at in this area. The staff on site were very friendly, I will be back. ”

“It was standard as a hotel could be! Owner/Manager was fast on his job, and helped with a spare key when we left our key in the hotel room. Would say that big ac in the room 110 is insanely load but kept the room perfect during the winter. Also bathroom door tight so squeaks load too. Either way it was a nice stay and will see us again.”

“Perfect blend of modern amenities in a rustic package. The location felt very secluded/private while being only minutes from the city. The lodge was roomy and inviting and the spacious patio made it easy to sit and visit with family/friends from the area.”

“The house had everything we needed and more. It is located near Reptiland, the Hiawatha Riverboat, Pine Creek Gorge, and other family friendly attractions. There were plenty of places to eat out. The ice cream shop around the corner was a favorite stop. The kids loved the arcade but the real treasure was the scenic creek just steps away. It was the perfect location for kayaking and fishing with newbies.”

“I needed a couple of days of quiet just to think and this was PERFECT! Don gave excellent recommendations for the hikes int he area, and there were plenty of good places within 30 minutes to eat. I would definitely return!!”
