“Came to the Pine Creek area to run the Eastern States 100 and this house was great for our base camp and especially for relaxing and recovering after the race. The back yard space was beautiful with easy access to Pine Creek. Sipping coffee on the dock and sun porch and soaking in the creek in the afternoon was perfect! The large common room was nicely furnished and allowed the whole group to gather and share stories from the long weekend. Would stay here again for sure! ”

“We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described. The home is also well appointed with everything you would need for cooking. Two things to note: You will need to physically take all of your trash to a dumpster about a mile away during designated times. It cannot be left on the property. Second, if you visit in the summer there is no central AC or window units. There is a portable AC in the living room which is great but only ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The bedrooms got a little stuffy……

“I was there with my wife and one of our daughters to attend a memorial for a deceased family member. My wife of 56 years has Alzheimer's so travel can be challenging, but our stay was very enjoyable even with the challenges. The property is excellent but I think it was the communication with our host that was the most exceptional. The worst part of the trip was leaving! Sitting around the campfire has always been a source of enjoyment and our time there was no exception. While we live 600 miles……

“A nice property and a great location. Nice small cabin with everything you need. It is clean and well decorated. Kitchen has everything you need to be comfortable. Pine Creek just 50 feet from the front porch is amazing. Shallow and calm and clean in July so great for wading and swimming and fishing. Kids in other cabins had great time playing and catching crayfish. ”
