“Great location about 10 to 15 minutes drive from La Fortuna. There is a great breakfast/ lunch place nearby however as well as some small Supers. The place itself is excellent with comfortable beds and good showers. It was just me and my partner and it would be ideal for two couples. The hot tub is also very good and the view of Arenal from the balcony is fantastic. I would recommend having a small 4x4 for the gravel roads up to the property and around the area.Thanks for having us in this……

“My family and I had a great stay at Magnalia House. The house and detached pool cabana were spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Highlight is definitely the soaking pool in backyard. The area around the pool was comfortable, and beautifully landscaped, giving a feeling of complete privacy even though you are in a neighborhood. Also, the awnings allow for plenty of sun but also allow you to enjoy outside even when it’s pouring rain. And the view of Arenal from the pool is stunning. A couple……

“The property is in need of many upgrades. The electrical outlets didn’t all work, the plumbing in that toilets needed attention for the first 3 days. The kitchen wasn’t suitable for cooking as the pots and pans were old and needed to be replaced. The toaster and blender didn’t work, although the blender was replaced promptly. The pool was great and location was good. You really will need a car to stay here. A printed guide would have been helpful telling us how to turn on patio lights etc. ……
