“It is a beautiful home right on the coast. We woke up to the sounds of birds and the waves crashing on the rocks. During the day we saw macaws and spider monkeys in the trees in front of the house. We had Rafa cook for us and his meals were a highlight of our vacation, however the kitchen has a modern stove and refrigerator so you could easily buy groceries in puerta jiminez and cook for yourself. “This is an amazing property in Matapalo in the southern tip of the Osa Peninsula. The house itself is beautiful and well kempt. We experienced hours of enjoyment watching monkeys, tropical birds, pizotes, cuatis, fireflies and other beautiful creatures pass through the yard. Wow! Kirk is a great host and he has a wonderful staff including Willian who helped us with our daily needs and took us on a tour of Corcovado National Park. We had an awesome visit!”

“It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. “Nice large property on a beautiful piece of land. Very easy check in and the easiest check out process out there. The house was clean and aired out, no musty smells!
