“We were delighted with the layout and the view. The sound of the waves splashing against the wharf was very soothing. Beds were comfy, kitchen was nicely stocked. Good communication with the owner. Overall, a lovely place.”

Facilities were clean and comfortable, however, going up the stairs to the room was difficult for my sister due to her bad knees, bed was a little small for my wife and I but was comfortable. The room was quiet and warm. Would stay here again.”

“We stayed here two nights while we explored the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton. It was a perfect location right on the water! Beautiful view despite the poor weather we had. Nice to walk the boardwalk and walk to dinner. The placement of the potty in the bathroom was curious, but we had a giggle over it. That said, the kitchen was equipped with what we needed, beds were comfy, and it was a very cute apartment! ”

This beautiful property has a view of the ocean and town of Inverness, while also being within striking distance of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The cozy, well equipped, loft is perfect for couples with access to a hot tub on the patio. The host, Doug Fraser, is an accomplished artist, welcoming and supportive to fellow artists and enthusiasts. Highly recommend taking the gallery tour to gain a greater appreciation……
