The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. “We booked this cottage to allow us to take our parents with us. The rooms were great and plenty of space and well equipped. The only downside was the radiator in the living room wasn’t working and although we had the fire lit and there was a portable small heater it was very hard to warm the living area as it open plan from the hall way into it and the stairwell to the bedroom upstairs was also in it. Other than that it was great.”

“Decent hotel. Staff were very friendly. Downstairs bar really nice with good food. Nice location alongside river. Only downside was mattress in room was very uncomfortable. Far too soft so I sank too far into it. Very hard to get a decent sleep which was disappointing for a break away. ”

“Grosses, älteres Hotel, welches aber sanft und stetig renoviert und in Stand gehalten wird. Unser 3-Bettzimmer war sehr gross und komfortabel mit Tee/Kaffee und Pflegeprodukten. Die Betten waren bequem, das Zimmer jedoch Nachts etwas laut, da das Hotel an einer grossen Kreuzung liegt. Das Badezimmer war nicht sehr sauber geputzt.
