“This lodge was the perfect setup for our family of 4 visiting the Cahuita area for a couple days. Immersed in nature and 5 minutes drive from the village, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet (except for the howler monkeys calls!) as long as you have a rental car. John was a wonderful host…greeted us upon arrival, made sure we had dinner reservations in town for our first night in Puerto Viejo, and even had a bottle of champaign waiting for us knowing that the trip was an anniversary celebration for us. The house was beautiful, and the gardens were truly magical. You truly are close to nature in this house! We almost did not want to leave to visit……
