We never had to leave the property because everything we wanted to do was there. ie. Movie room , game room, fire pit, Hot Tub, puzzles, etc. Everything was provided in the kitchen. “We had a family Christmas gathering in this beautiful house. We all live in different parts of the country and this location was central. We used the house as a base, but only two families stayed here. Everything from the cleanliness to the well equipped kitchen and the little amenities was perfect. The view of the lake was an extra bonus and the game room was a great addition for the kids and kids at heart in the group. I highly recommend this house and hope to return in the future.”

“This is an extremely accommodating home with bathrooms in all the bedrooms and never ending space. There are actually 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. There is enough space for 22 people to sleep in beds. Not just the 12. Recommendation to future renters is to reach out to Ashley to make sure you can bring your large group! “Rented Blackwater for my 40th birthday celebration. I couldn't imagine a better place if I tried. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. The arcade was beyond my dreams! The decorations for Halloween made it even better. We're already planning a return in the summer. Communication with the host was fast and reliable, and they added some personal touches for my birthday that were very sweet and definitely appreciated. The kitchen also had everything we needed! I'm in love.”
