“We were very happy with the listing. Exactly as it shows and easy to find. A great spot for us as we attended graduation at the Naval Academy. Plenty of places to eat close by. We had the best crab cakes at Pappas! Parking was right outside the house and it was so quiet and peaceful. Communication with the host was excellent. Absolutely recommend this little gem.”

“This house was cool and comfortable, clean and well maintained, with space for our team to spread out between events at UMBC. (room that is described for 3 can only sleep 2, and there is no queen room with a futon) but the futon chair in the living room worked fine. We made good use of the kitchen during our stay and were grateful for the washer/dryer in the basement! “Nick was the most attentive host anyone could ever ask for. The property was clean and stocked with any supplies you could ever need. Ubers and Lyfts were the best options for transportation to and from White House, Capitol, museums, etc. tip: make sure to read the Welcome white notebook when you arrive, lots of valuable information.A wonderful trip! “Started off a bit rocky. We were approaching our check in time and hadn’t gotten any check in instructions. Reached out and were told unit wouldn’t be ready until 4, check in was at 3. Ended up being ready at 3;30. There is a LOT of traffic, especially during the morning rush. While not on a main road, people use the street as a short cut to get around the traffic lights at the corner. The neighborhood is a bit run down. We had an Uber driver tell us we were on the wrong side of the Anacostia……

“Our Washington experience was enriched by staying in a residential neighborhood that dates to the 1800s The neighbors were friendly. The house had been redone in the last couple of years, with new bathroom fixtures, kitchen appliances, flooring, very clean. We could walk to the Safeway, trolley stop, nearby restaurant. Most of the time there were five of us, and we enjoyed sitting out on the front porch for drinks and snacks. ”

“This property was as advertised - fabulous location for sightseeing. Metro a block away, Safeway a block away too. We are five college friends in our early 70’s and this property worked well for us. "We requested a comforter at 10:00pm and the front desk told us that the housekeeping office was locked already and we cannot have an extra comforter because of that. As a result, we have to live through the cold night without an extra comforter"
