“We recently stayed here for a family retreat with 20 people, ranging from adults to teenagers, kids, and even infants. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and offers activities for all ages. The kids especially loved the ninja challenge course, while we all enjoyed the canoeing and kayaking—there were more than enough kayaks for everyone! Carrie was fantastic, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything and always responding……

“Absolute perfection. Quiet, beautiful, cozy, and inspiring. The physical dwelling is stunning- the consideration to detail in the design is noteworthy, and waking up to the floor to ceiling window view over the lake was something of dreams. Everything delivered as promised and then some! If I HAVE to find a critique, it would be that it was a little difficult to get the kayaks/paddleboards to the water from where they are stowed, but I have a hunch the water level was super low and that issue……

“We had an amazing this winter! We went up for an ice fishing trip with some friends! Even though we only caught one fish it was still a great weekend! The camp was beautiful and the kids had a blast! Definitely recommend! ”

“The house was perfect for our group. Very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, however, we were quite disappointed with the waterfront. The pictures are very misleading. There was so much grass and weeds in the water, you could not swim there. Otherwise, it was very quiet and relaxing. ”

“The Maplewood Lakehouse is the PERFECT spot to gather with friends and family! The home itself is huge and inviting, but it's location to the town of Newport for gas, groceries, and take-out make it really stand out. This home has SO many bedrooms to accomodate our large group. We really appreciated having spaces to both be together (multiple living rooms, the game room/garage, and the kitchen/dining spaces) as well as the many bedrooms to have quiet space to recharge as well. “We came up for our daughter’s wedding and needed a spot to relax and reenergize between setting up, decorating, rehearsing and the big day. SugarMaple provided just that. We brought our UTV's/ATV's very convenient to the trails to connect to so many places, we look forward to staying here again in the future. This place is also very convenient to some great Snowmobile trails.”
