“Great property and close to Tawas for shopping and Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets. Loved having a washer and dryer. We were a little disappointed that the Sand Lake access wasn’t closer but it all worked out. We drove to Lake Huron and swam in the Great Lake. ”

“The location was great and the cabin was perfect! If you're looking for a log cabin in the quiet woods on the river, this is it. It was spacious and comfortable and impressively clean! The cabin had everything we needed, too. The shower water pressure was great. The only negative of our trip was the insane brood of mosquitos! But there's nothing that the host can do about that and it's to be expected given the woods and water. We went to Meijer and got yard spray and sprayed it all around and it……

“We all loved our stay, such a beautiful home and amazing property right on the river. Our dog couldn't get enough of playing in the river and we enjoyed floating in tubes from Rifle River park on Greenwood right back to the house in about an hour. Such a great place to vacation!”

“To no fault of the property owner, the cleaners had not cleaned or changed the sheets before our arrival. We had to call Evolve Travel, whi had to track down the owner. The owner was unable to get a hold of the cleaners, but was gracious enough to give us the code to the shed where clean sheets were kept. The floors were filthy!!! The top of the toilet tank was off because you had to jiggle the parts for it to flush correctly. The owner had obviosly bought all new sheets, towels,kitchen utensils……

No internet, but that was a good thing, as it kept everyone off their phones. Kitchen was stocked with all basics needed to cook and the yard was a nice surprise with the peaceful firepit area and beautiful landscaping.”
