“We will thrilled to see the cottage was even nicer than expected to what we saw on-line. The house was clean, updated, spacious and extremely comfortable. Oyster Bay was right across the road and fun to explore at low tide. The only surprise was how busy and noisy the road was during the day. By evening and through the night, traffic quieted down. No AC was needed as the house remained cool even on warm days. Close to Campbell River and Courtenay, we were quickly able to get to a variety of……

“Our family recently stayed at this beautiful gem. Ample room of us and our teen sons, the back yard is spectacular with lots of room for frisbee and even a visiting deer. The sauna was a lovely option too and a nice way to wind down in the evenings. The morning view watching the sun rise over the water was an amazing way to start each day. The location is great overall. The hosts are incredibly responsive and make sure you have everything you need. ”

“This was the ultimate vacation we have ever experienced by far! The Carriage house was absolutely perfect for 2 couples to comfortably spend time gazing at the beautiful Discovery Passage watching the seals, sea lions, cruise ships, seaplanes taking off and landing and magnificent eagles do their thing right in front of us. The house is located very close to so many wonderful sights that the Island has to offer including water adventures (recommend Discovery West Adventures), waterfalls,……

“Our family of six had a wonderful stay for a few nights. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The views from the living room are amazing! Our hosts were responsive and friendly.The ocean was not so conducive to swimming but the sauna was a great relaxation treat at the end of a day of hiking. I highly recommend this place if you travel to Vancouver island.”

“This is an absolute beautiful spot on the river. Our 3 night stay was wonderful especially the bear watching as well as all the other birds and fish visible from your living room windows. The first day we had a mother bear and 3 cubs come down to the other side of the river to eat some salmon that were swimming in the water. The beds were very comfortable and it was really nice having a sink and toilet off of the master bedroom. This unit is on the top floor which was fine for us however……
