“Beautiful beach huts, in a stunning quiet bay. Kiera was a fantastic host, providing water, milk and freshly picked bananas! Kayaks and SUPs available. Beach houses are mostly well equipped. I'd recommend either visitors to bring or property to provide: large black bin bags, as all rubbish must be taken off the island with you, towels (no hand towels in property) and same with soap/shower gel. Was a lovely stay and would definitely go again! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Very warm & comfortable. Like that there was a choice of pillows & the bed was very uncomfortable. Close to the Plume restaurant & shops in Matakana village. Staff were extremely helpful & kind. They gave us a lift to the restaurant in a golf cart due to it pouring down with rain ☔️ It’s the little things! Thank you so much :) ”

“Very clean room. Staff friendly and helpful. Good on site parking. Laundry facilities good. Really nice lady managing the lodge while owners away. Black out curtains would be a good addition as the lights outside the back rooms stay on all night and it can be hard to sleep when they shine through the ranch slider curtains where the beds are situated. ”
