“This is an old mill turned into an apartment building. Scary pulling up but the inside is beautiful! Well put together however the only negatives would be that the elevator is not in operation and there are so many stairs which can be a pain with luggage. The walls are also very thin and you can hear everything that comes from the units nextdoor or above yours. And I mean everything!”

“I've wanted to stay in a log cabin for some time now, and this one will be hard to top. It's forested, end of the road location make it a quiet respite from a frenetic world, although nearby downtown Saluda is far from frenetic - and that's a good thing! The deck puts you right in the middle of the forest, and the only sounds we heard were the running creek down the mountain from us and occasional birdsong. We ate out a lot but could've prepared a variety of meals with the kitchen……

“Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back.
