“The hotel is close to the Mestre station, about a 5-10 min walk. There is a side entrance to platform 1 directly, you don’t need to go through the main entrance of the station, which is a bit further away.
There are a few hotels and restaurants nearby. Feel safe in the area at night.

“This property was fantastic! It was everything we were hoping for. We stayed here for most of a week and it was a wonderful spot for exploring Venice and the larger lagoon region.The main floor balcony and sitting area over the grand canal were wonderful for morning and evening lounging and watching the taxis, vaporetto, and gondolas go by. “The host was excellent from the moment that we first made contact until the day we left. She responded to inquiries very quickly and even met us at the train station when we arrived on the first evening, to lead us back to the flat and then to a nearby restaurant for a meal. The neighbourhood is really delightful, and nearby Campo San Barnaba has nice cafes and a gondola station. Nothing was very far away and it was a great apartment in a perfect location. I'll stay again. No complaints. ”

“As a world traveler, I expect smaller apartments and tight quarters whenever I visit different countries. In fact, I had just enjoyed a 700 sq ft apartment the week prior in Venice. However, this 1400 sq ft apartment blew me away with its spacious rooms, remodeled bathrooms, COLD A/C and perfect location nearby sights and a water taxi stand. “The apartment was a good location easy to walk everywhere. Plenty of room for our family of 4 including daughters. The apartment is across from a bar/restaurant so it was noisy in the evening until midnight. At midnight, the customers leave and it is quiet. The crowd at the bar/restaurant was respectful and not a problem to walk through them to get into the apartment. Just a bit loud for a few hours when we wanted to rest. ”

The hotel is very close to the train station, it could be bothersome for people that are very sensitive to noise. Not a problem for me though.
Also, you don’t get free daily housekeeping like a traditional hotel. But at this price, you really can’t ask for more. Hotel tax is very cheap, so is the price of the room.
I would 100% recommend this hotel.
