“Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy.”

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the two toucans that visited us in the morning. “Our family of 6 stayed at Madre Salva for 6 days during April vacation. To say that the experience was magnificent is an understatement. It is unreal. The house itself is thoughtfully designed and an ideal fit for our family. The communication and attentive service from Carolina and Rume were excellent. “We stayed at Corozon del Rio for 7 nights with 3 of our adult children. The rooms were really nice and the open air kitchen/dining/living area was amazing. There were a lot of staples (oil, some spices etc) in the pantry which helped because we made most of our own meals while we were there. Everything we needed was there for cooking. The only down side was that were we unable to connect with the property manager after our arrival when he showed us around the building. We were hoping to have him……

“Travelers beware,the way you can do a reservation with more than four people is not valid, even though, the platform shows the cabin holds up to 12 guests. The "cabin" is actually a three standing alone cabins with two queen size beds, and each cabin holds no more than four people. Beware that once you reserved this property, it is a VRBO and as such you can not cancel, and will not be refunded (true story, it happened to me yesterday) because If the host refunded you, then their "rating" with……
