“The location on the river is amazing. Even better than we expected. Pricing is on point. We found it very relaxing in the mornings to sit out front and have a coffee. In the afternoons it was fun to swim and watch the boats go by. We did some fishing and caught some bluegill and perch.The host were very friendly and had great communication. I would give the hosts & rental 10 stars if I could but it only allows me to give 5!”

“Wonderful experience for a 3 family getaway (13 people & dog). A lot of little touches make the home very inviting. House is located conveniently near a grocery store and a few restaurants. We rented a boat and went to the dockside ice cream shop which was awesome... Definitely hard to beat the experience of watching a sunset while eating ice cream on a boat. Lots of indoor games available, but thankfully the weather was great so we got to enjoy kayaking, the paddle boat and the pontoon. We……

“We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The home was clean and very comfortable. The few complaints we have got dealt with pretty effectively and efficiently. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and we caught lots of fish. We did bring our own jet ski and paddle boards but still used the cabins kids kayaks and paddle boat. Coffee pods, shower items and laundry detergent/sheets were kindly provided. The neighborhood is quiet. And best of all, the back deck is incredibly calming! Watch the lovely Chippewa river go by, check out all the beautiful native birds visiting the feeder (get your Merlin app ready!), and enjoy the turtles, trout and other lovely wildlife who come to visit!……

“The cabin is new, clean, and packs a lot of comfort and convenience. We saw a beautiful 9 point buck in velvet in the back yard, and enjoyed being close to The Royal Grill and fishing. We will definitely be back.”

“My two friends and I stayed at Crystal Rapids Retreat to celebrate our “mid-life” milestone birthdays. We wanted to ditch the city to better connect with each other and nature, which we did ALL weekend. From watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the deck… to traversing the Muskegon River in our kayaks… to grilling out for dinner and laughing around the fire pit, there was no shortage of peace and enjoyment.
