“Our group of 2 families enjoyed the stay here. We had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, but very windy. The scenery was the highlight for adults. Kids loved the mini golf and the upstairs loft (beware of the steep steps). It is about an hour drive to the volcano. Lots to see and do within an hour drive in all directions. There is nice food close by ”

“Nicely decorated simple cabins with a true nature feel. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Loved the little details like the viewing outpost. Out of the main tourist paths which is what I was looking for. ”

“We got an upgrade because the room we had reserved was not ready. The upgraded room had 3 beds and 2 baths. The bathroom was huge and the furniture was beautiful. The view of the lake and volcano was gorgeous. The wrap around terrace was stunning. This was 10x better than the one bedroom, one bath we had. ”

“Loved everything. The wildlife right on their property was amazing. Baby sloth and mommy right in the tree outside the door. Jonathan was great too and showed us a lot of fun stuff. We did the tubing excursion and had so much fun. It’s not for the faint of heart. Perfect for our fam! Recommend going on the hike into park to see that beautiful Celeste River and waterfall. ”

“The house was exactly what we had hoped for - clean and with enough space for our family of five to sleep and stay comfortably. Our local host, Gerardo, was absolutely amazing. He greeted us with a smile and helped us plan amazing adventures from viewing incredible waterfalls, azure blue pools and cultural experiences (learning how to make local dairy products). The food at the local soda was delicious and filling - my three teenage boys approved! A great place to stay in a magical part of Costa……

“Such a nice, clean property. The bathroom was spacious, loved the shower. Great working kitchen. Close parking. It was a little hard to locate the property after dark. Good thing Google maps worked! What I liked best was sitting on the balcony looking at the mountains & the clouds over Lake Arenal. We loved our time here.”

“Great communication with the owner. Immediately responded to all messages and any questions that we had. Gorgeous property both inside and out, and very clean. Was a bonus to have awashing machine and dryer located in the garage and laundry detergent/powder was provided and even refilled during our stay there”

“We had such an amazing stay at this property. Our jaws dropped when we first walked in as the view is breathtaking. We felt very welcomed and taken care of by the staff and looked forward to coming back to our villa each day after we adventured. It was great proximity to all of the activities we did and enjoyed the scenery. I would suggest a vehicle with 4x4 to get into the property as some of the roads were rough, but it added to the fun! We would absolutely stay here again and looking forward……

“The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive.”
