“Nicely located in a quiet neighborhood and easy walk to a very busy Main Street with numerous shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped but I missed not having a Keurig for coffee. The traditional coffee pot was adequate. All the other rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The stairs into the home and going to the 2nd floor could pose a problem for those with mobility and/or balance issues. “Wonderful stay at this property!! We really enjoyed the beautiful house, pool and grounds. We did have an issue with the fire pit however the house manager responded very quickly. The problem was solved and the equipment was in working order the same day. The location was close to town and two large supermarkets. We hope to return again to this beautiful property! “We chose this property because of the age (1740s farmhouse) and convenient location in the southern Berkshires only 15 minutes or so from Great Barrington. The house did not disappoint. It is a very charming farmhouse in excellent condition for its age and with modern amenities. As we only had four adults, there was plenty of room to spread out. “From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming.
