“Eladio is a great host , and his love and knowledge of Costa Rica’s Eco System is Excellant. The 7 hour tour of the rain forest was fabulous. I’m in my seventies but in excellent health had no problem. But if out of shape I wouldn’t recommend it. His private beach excursions highly recommended. He also offers boat tours for wildlife.The grounds & pool certainly were a welcome sight. I stayed in the 2 floor house it’s rustic. There is also a one story cottage which is modern. “We loved our stay in Las Catalinas! We stayed in a beautiful three-level, two-bedroom home with incredible views—sunsets from the balcony were unforgettable. The town itself is incredibly charming and totally walkable. Everything is thoughtfully designed, and it feels both upscale and relaxed. The only thing missing was a great boulangerie—while there is one in town, it was often nearly empty. A full boulangerie with more variety would be the perfect addition to this otherwise fantastic……

“Loved the semi private beach. The staff at the restaurant was always kind and helpful. Everything was clean and well kept. Pools were beautiful. Villas was super clean and very comfortable to stay in. Thanks for a great experience.”

“The entire property was fantastic. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The unit we were given was perfect, lots of space for 4 people and the full kitchen was well used. Having the pools onsite and spread around the property was a great touch and all other owners/guests that we met were very helpful and friendly!”

“The staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. They lent us umbrellas for us to use while we stayed there because of the weather conditions. They gave us information on the best places to eat and made us feel at home. While the hotel is not a luxury resort, I was pleasantly surprised how big the hotel room was. It had a separate kitchen and couch and the outside patio was very large with furniture and a hammock. Will definitely stay again if we make it back to Costa Rica. ”
