“A quaint and friendly place. It is an older property so it does show some small flaws. We stayed in the Royal room and enjoyed the fireplace and claw foot tub. They have some great little personal touches like complimentary juice at the reception, homemade cookies in the room, and a hand written welcome card. The restaurant is a must too! Best breakfast!”

“In the first night, the room is terrible. The furniture is in bad condition. The room is old and dirty. However, the hotel staff knows our feelings. They changed another room for us next day. “The thermostat did not work, making the room too hot to sleep despite opening the windows.Several attempts to contact the hotel went unanswered.Left after one night of two night stay as I was feeling ill due to lack of sleep.Getting to room was an obstacle course due to mattresses in hallway from renovations.Hallways were filthy due to renovations.The room itself was fairly clean though. Can not recommend due to lack of management feedback or concern.”
