“Beautiful old hotel just a bit dated and understated compared to other classic Fairmont hotels. We had just come from Seattle and it was nicer there. Lounge was also very crowded for Fairmont gold had to share tables for breakfast and hearing in room was unable to switch off or change to cooling so had to open a window at night it was so hot. Not many other high class hotels in Calgary though so I’d still go back. ”

“The staff at the front desk have no patience with guests, the shuttle driver was very rude with guests' suitcases and damaged my suitcase trolley without even an apology. The bedding was not changed every guest and the towels were disgusting! The smell of male bodily fluids clung to the towels and you could smell it when you entered the bathroom, and there was actually a blood stain on one of the towels that hadn't washed off. It was disgusting! Don't waste your money challenging your bottom……

“The building is huge and recently updated. We went down the stairs to go swim and when we left the stairwell the door locked behind us, we tried to find out way out but all doors were locked. It very cold, -30 and i had my yougest daughters so when i saw someone walking accross the street i yelled HELP and they walked to the front and alerted them. A manager came from one of the locked doors and led us thru the kitchen. Otherwise the stay was good and the underground parking was so good in the……
