“We are frequent VRBO users, and this was certainly our worst experience thus far. My husband, my brother-in-law and I were staying for one night. We arrived in town early, so messaged the host to see if we could get in two hours ahead of check-in. we were told it would be $20 an hour so $40 additional. When the request for funds came through it was for $60. After much back-and-forth, the host changed the amount to the agreed-upon $40 and we paid it. By the time all that was done, we arrived at……

“We stayed at the condo for an Oilers game and loved the location which was only a 10 minute walk from the arena! The place was perfect with lots of room for myself and 3 teen/tweens. The only negative feedback is the communication with the owner. He wouldn't answer my questions about parking prior to check in day nor did he mention that we needed to get the fob prior to accessing the underground parking lot and where it was located. “Perfect size and location for us, very luckytofindit. Having the place "pre-warmed" would have been perfect due to low temps as it took full 24 hours to take the chill off. ”
